Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia considered it as his sacred duty to feed the poor and the needy.  In his days the size of the Langar was such mammoth that even Kings and Emperors of the time were stunned by its enormity. Keeping this high tradition alive  today daily Langar (Free Food) is served to the visitors/devotees who come from different parts of the country and abroad. Special  arrangements are made for Iftar in the holy month or Ramadan inside the Dargah Sharif and Masjid known as Zaminul Masajid situalted at Hazrat Nizamuddin. Many people also contribute for this holy cause.
