The continuous efforts of Sufi Cultural Organization for the Dargah Parking have finally started to show positive results. Lt. Governor Mr. Anil Baijal inspected the area along with his team of officials on 16th September. He assured the SCO Secretary General Farid Ahmed Nizami who accompanied him that necessary and prompt action will be taken to decongest the roads around Dargah. The LG also instructed to fecilitate proper arrangements for pilgrims who visit Dargah on the occasions of Urs in large number. As per LG's instructions, inter-departmental coordination meetings will be held to explore the options for setting up of shelters, toilets as well as cooking area for Dargah pilgrims.
Earlier on 5th July 2017 SCO delegation led by its President visited Raj Niwas to press this long awaited grievance of the area. The LG than had promised prompt and required action in this regard.
