The 719th Urs Celebration of Hazrat Amir Khusro disciple of His Holiness Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia has been celebrated at the Dargah from 7th to 11th May 2023. The main Qul was on Tuesday 19th May at 11 AM in the courtyard of Dargah Sharif. Similarly the Qul will be held on 17 and 18th December inside Dargah Sharif.
There was three-day Urs functions at Urs Mahal, Hazrat Nizamuddin. The Urs programme included Qawwali, Musharia, Quran-Khwani, Naat Khwani, Speeches etc. All India Radio broadcasted live the Urs proceedings on 9th May 2023 from 10 PM to 1 AM as usual.
Dignitaries, Diplomats, Poets, Scholars along with public at large from all over the country and abroad attended the Urs Mubarak.
